Internet Tears wrapped 2024 by opening for the Billboard #1 charting pop artist Madelline and tonight delivers its first show of 2025 at T's Pizza & Rock Club in Stamford, CT.

CONNECTICUT (February 28, 2025) – As 2025 gets into full swing, Connecticut-based quartet Internet Tears is continuing its rise as one of the most promising indie pop bands on the scene, today arriving with its first release of the year, “Always Fool Around.” The single, which is now available on digital streaming platforms, is the band’s fourth release on Black Barrel Records.

Never failing to blend nostalgia-fueled indie pop sadness with a dose of glistening romance, on its latest track, Internet Tears speaks to the satisfaction that comes with experiencing life with that special person by your side. Brimming with infectious melodies and rhythms, and boasting an unforgettable chorus, “Always Fool Around” is another example of the group’s ability to craft irresistible and relatable tunes.

“‘Always Fool Around’ is about having a good time with someone you love. Sometimes life has its ups and downs, but dealing with the anxiety, stress and negativity life naturally brings just becomes a bit easier when you have that person you rely on and when you’re with the people who comfort you the most,” Daniel Louis, the band’s frontman and songwriter, shares.

Louis drew from his own passions when planning and directing the official music video. An avid film lover and lifelong skateboarder, he turned to the ‘90s for the ultimate inspiration, tapping into the nostalgia of skate and mall culture with nods to the 1995 movie “Mallrats.” From the graffiti-covered ramps at the skate park to the mall arcade, the video is full of fun and will take viewers along for the ride.

“Always Fool Around” is the fourth single Internet Tears has released on Black Barrel Records following “Death & His Friends,” “I Want You,” and “Feels Like Summer.” The single also follows an action-packed 2024 that saw the band make its debut at Launch Music Conference in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and play a number of shows throughout its home state and the Northeast, including venues such as Park City Music Hall in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where it opened for the Billboard #1 charting pop artist Madelline in December.

Tonight, Internet Tears brings its indie pop magic to T’s Pizza & Rock Club in Stamford, Connecticut, where the band will share a bill with fellow Connecticut acts Giants Grove and Teddy Rosé.

Comprising Daniel Louis (vocals), Zack Apuzzo (drums), Esteban Rivera (guitar), and Mikey Feliciano (bass guitar), Internet Tears has begun to establish itself as a rising force in indie pop, incorporating colorful tints of pop-rock, synth-punk and synthwave in its enveloping compositions that explore themes such as self-empowerment and relationships.
