BABYMETAL torched a sold-out crowd at Wind Creek Events Center in Bethlehem, PA. The Japanese phenomenon brought self-labeled "Bimbocore" sensation Scene Queen along for the ride.
Scene Queen performed a vibrant and audience engaging set. Her songs are playful and yet empowering. And while many songs may seem man eating her band is comprised of two men Daniel Rudd of Boy Hero on guitar and Jonathan Schwartz on drums.
Scene Queen had just 30 minutes to warm the crowd up that were eagerly anticipating BABYMETAL. While being completely different types of artists the combo worked well. The pop sound along with catchy guitar riffs and a heavy drummer got the crowd excited. She performed 8 songs starting with "Pink Push-Up Bra" and ended with her signature "Barbie and Ken". While Scene Queen may be a niche artist, she's worth checking out.
BABYMETAL is out on their World Tour 2024 and they are taking the metal world by storm. They have an immense and loyal following that is only going to continue to grow. They performed 12 songs over a blistering 70-minute set. BABYMETAL'S show was an interactive fan experience that I have not seen in a long time.
They opened their set with BABYMETAL which was absolutely amazing. The entire audience went crazy, the first few rows were head banging and swinging towels around just as the ladies were doing on stage. The amount of energy was insane. From that moment on there was not a second that the crowd stood still.
BABYMETAL'S show is just as much a visual experience as it is a musical one. The stage had massive screens as their backdrop that filled the stage with the perfect compliments to the music and synchronized dancing.
If you are looking for an experience and not just a concert, I recommend treating yourself to a BABYMETAL show. Even if you are unfamiliar with them or their music you will fall in love.
