Concert Review: August Burns Red and The Amity Affliction at The Fillmore in Minneapolis, MN
August Burns Red and The Amity Affliction brought their co-headlining tour to
Minneapolis, and for a Tuesday night, the crowd showed up ready to bring the energy.
The Amity Affliction recently released their new album “House of Cards” this April,
marking their first release since former vocalist and bassist Ahren Stringer’s departure
last February. They opened their set with newer material but still made sure to include
fan favorites like “Pittsburgh” and “Soak Me in B

Concert Review: Country Thunder Florida 2026 Festival
There’s something surreal about hearing thousands of people sing country songs steps away from the water as the Florida sunset spills across the skyline - and somehow, Country Thunder Florida 2026 made it feel effortless.

Concert Review: Failure at Le Poisson Rouge, Manhattan, NY
he first thing you notice when walking to Le Poisson Rouge, the 700-cap club in Manhattan’s East Village, is the age range in the massive line wrapped around the block. It’s not uncommon to see bands within the 90s alternative rock circuits attracting massive legions of fans that weren’t around during their commercial comeups (with bands like Deftones, Slowdive, and Duster to name just a handful), but it’s rare to see them pack out clubs instead of stadiums.

Concert Review: Sing Us Home Festival in Manayunk, PA
The 2026 Sing Us Home Festival in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia was a huge success! The family friendly festival brought out people of all ages, with so much more than music. The food and drinks were delicious, there were so many activities like tattoos, haircuts, festival braids, and local small artists selling their work, as well as info booths like, Punk Rock Saves Lives and Planned Parenthood.

Concert Review: Silversun Pickups and Giant Waste of Man at XL Live in Harrisburg, PA
In an era where we pay monthly subscriptions to have the same bands and songs fed to us on repeat, true musical discovery feels like a lost art. Even streaming algorithms, designed for "discovery," often feel catered and repetitive, making it increasingly difficult to find new sounds from smaller, independent acts.

Concert Review: Searows at Webster Hall, NY
The silence in between Searows’ songs feels like an expansion of the atmosphere, not an inhibitor. In the place of traditional ambient tones and excruciating stage banter in between songs, Alec Duckart, the artist known as Searows, tunes his guitar, keeping the dialogue to a minimum. Occasionally, he will thank the audience for coming, tell everyone to let their imagination run wild, or give a cheeky hint towards the last song being “the very last song, with no more after thi

Prince Daddy & The Hyena kicked off their tour for the new album "Hotwire Trip Switch" on 5/3 in their hometown of Albany, NY at Empire Underground.
The night kicked off with hardcore band Restraining Order from Western Massachusetts/Connecticut. Their aggressive, no-frills set immediately set the tone for the evening.

Concert Review Vana, The Lady in Red, with Redhook, Deadlands and Chandler Leighton at the Fine Line in Minneapolis, MN
If your concert doesn’t include badass women in rock and metal, fake blood, a mosh pit stuffed
animal heist, and trading cards being launched into a crowd of screaming fans…what are you
even doing? Vana’s stop at the Fine Line in Minneapolis, MN for her first ever headline tour
definitely checked all those boxes. With supporting acts Redhook, Deadlands, and Chandler
Leighton, it was truly one of my personal favorite concerts I have attended this year.

Concert Review: Pink Talking Fish at the Cabot Theater in Beverly, MA
The Cabot Theatre in Beverly, Massachusetts welcomed Pink Talking Fish on May 2, 2026. The hybrid tribute band seamlessly melds together the sounds of three of the world’s most beloved bands—Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, and Phish. It was an excellent show in a stunning venue. The incredible ambiance added to the nearly sold-out show at the Cabot.

Concert Review: Treaty Oak Revival with The Huser Brothers Band at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland, OR
Treaty Oak Revival isn’t just another country-rock band. They’re leaders of what I’d call punk country. Energy on max. From the first note, it was time to rage.
Sam welcomed us into the ranks of the Degenerates—a badge I wear proudly. He spoke about their roots, the Crystal Ballroom, WheatStock Festival, and never forgetting where they came from.
By the time “Boomtown” hit, the place erupted—beer flying, bodies moving, chaos everywhere, like a 90s Warped Tour with cowboy
